Join. finish off, leaving a long tail to tie the eye to the "ghost".
When the head is big enough, fasten eyes to head. You could use buttons, instead, any size or color you choose. Your project, your choice!
OR you could use googly eyes.
View of inside with eyes fastened on.
Now to make the ghost: ch 2, 8 dc in second ch from hook.
Round 2: 2 sdc in each dc around.
Inside view of top.
Round 3: work 2 dc in next stitch, work 1 dc in next stitch. Repeat around.
Continue increasing evenly until ghost is as big around as you wish.
Work even until ghost is as tall as you wish.
Start decreasing evenly. I decreased 4 times in each round.
I stuffed it with the white handles and ends I had left after making white plarn. Start stuffing when the opening is still big enough for your hand. Every few rounds you'll need to stuff more in.
When there were 4 dc left to work, I stuffed it full and worked 2 sl st to close the opening.
You can use garden stakes to put this in your yard so it won't blow away...
Or you can put fishing line through the top and make a loop to hang it from a tree.
