8 years in the making!

 I've been working on these doilies for 8 years.

 The plan was to get 12 of them. I finally do! They look good over the back of my recliner AND on top of small tables.
January white (shown above on table)
February red
March green
April pastels variegated(shown above on chair)
May salmon pink
June pale blue
July red, white and blue, variegated
August yellow
September bright colors, variegated
October orange
November brown
December red, white and green, variegated.

The pattern called it a place mat, but once I had the first one made, I decided they'd make better doilies and besides, I didn't want to eat over them! Remember, patterns are just suggestions.
Now, I want 12 afghans. I have 4 made. How many more years will this take?
