House Slippers

I saw these slippers on line and had to try them.
 Different sizes.
I added some bits of hot glue on the soles to make them non-slip. The site where I found the pattern:
members.optusnet.com.
As I've said before, a pattern is just a suggestion. I had to try different animals besides zebras. I didn't change colors. I just worked sc around until they were high enough for the toes. Then I started decreasing 2 stitches each round at the toe end. To decrease sc: insert hook into next stitch, pull up a loop, insert hook into next stitch, pull up a loop. Yarn over and pull through all 3 loops. 1 decrease.
Then I worked rows across the toe end until I had a nice size and room to slip the foot in.
I still glued the eyes on and covered the entire uppers with fringe, the same as the tail of the zebra. Don't know what kind of animal it is, but they're fun and cute.
Then I had to make spiders for my nephews because my sister is scared of spiders. Eyes and fringe same as the animal above.
But they also have 8 fuzzy legs.
Have fun. Be creative. Make unique slippers for that special child!
